Not Even A Small Serving

observation of fashionable haute cuisine
suggests plating, flavor separation, and timing
all to be of paramount importance
all right at the top, however conflicting
alas, my patience is sorely lashed
and to the dish I splash most everything
velocity uncompromised, plating joy
mostly an element of chaotic sound
all elements coming together
not with peerless display
but with clatter, splatter, and actual combat
elements unto fray, delicious arena
winning but four stars of ten
having gotten in that most serious eye
reviewer entirely too close to my dinner
tasting, after, only the smallest of quantities
next time dear sure, please tell me you ��re coming
else my food is mine, and you can have drippings
