overgrown stairs, probably starting out as some non-reactive alloy
now resemble someone ��s permaculture project, soft flowers winking
each blank-eyed Susan shifting aimlessly, a windlass drawing in
rich dreamer ��s soil nearly erasing shapes where footsteps rose
fell gardeners somewhere sheltering tenure, a decade ��s come-hither
to walk in where it ��s cooler, old-school bringing schooner
brightest yellow sunshine sails, an invitation towards futures
invested in compost emolument, union joins on pleasant dues
that grassy vergent precipice ��s sweet post-downpour promise
recombining in genetic run against spliced accidentals
each blossom turned in appreciation
towards those most human of motions
