More Or Less Like This

we remember flash mobs before they were terrifying
coin in the hat for the surprise chamber orchestra
kids on a subway breaking out in dance
now people skitter around hats in crowds
busking folks use clearly labeled boxes
and no one trusts random buttons
on dares, for profit, well-armed adventurers set forth with coins
always bringing a gift, a diplomat, and good coms
because sometimes you get aliens and new trade portals
sometimes you get monsters �� and until the button is pressed
until the hat is fed a coin �� until someone pulls that bright lever
we just don ��t know
