modern synthetic crackle impersonates old gramophone
emitter stuck down delicately machined brass throat
changeling speaking antiquated words bereft of gravity
forthright in its chantry of greenwood dappling
buried in steel chambers, surfaces deliquescence etched
awaiting its own evaporation, replaced a thousandth time
pedestal sinking, rising, repeating old starless tunes
renewal in static form, rendering again that ill refrain
one room in countless, one emission precisely limited
dance ye, while oak trees waver
dance ye, below their gyre
dance ye, in fair attire
round, and round, and round
belonging to forgotten units, old iron oblong approaches star
world below lifting tree things, oaken-like in variation
slings unpowered past, alloy occupied in stringing sound
vacuum allied in silent resounding presence, electromagnetic
tree-thing ��s tree things looking up aghast, reflected light stares back
two histories, one wave-interference apart, a desperation
one light-impermeable collection where desertion applies
monolith sinking, rising, slowest of heartbeats scried
oracle below whispering hello-goodbye, beloved of passing signal
