A Great And Surpassing Desire

today, they have spotted my salmon
shine from their kibble left wanting
alas, it is mine
and downright divine
however the scent might be flaunting
today, on each side, a sweet daemon
as claws from the left come a-fishing
a dodge to the right
offers sweet dog insight
leaving calico doom smugly washing
today, with creatures so gammon
perhaps I ��ll just eat in the shower
then put out the light
and fold myself tight
to nap in the tub for a hour
