bewildered, we descendants unknowing confiscated
our hopes from our futures, our futures from our pastes
our tapestries of being from the very chambers
we dug, effortless, in search of every wonder unfound
placed ritual fragments in good order, clearly designed
petal elopement on mica wing-wires, still resigned
thrumming alloy annealed in stiffening oil, re-measured
landings divesting tunnels of grime, mound of perturbation
thinking the same thoughts, telling each other originality
originally ordained objects, unique unquiet spaces filled
chilled integrations of faces, replacements effacing
untaught, stretched to expire, still reaching
divested of all layers, beseeching
make mine entire, leach king
