counting, always counting
we ��d thought it was reflex motion
last life having a bit of a leak-through
seek-to coming on like marathon mile eighteen
off by four miles, but not sure which way
pained holding pattern asking childhood
stuck in the back seat, whether there was yet, yet
and if so, could it maybe not
because here was troublesome enough
adding in another there, grease-trapped erosion
surfactant-lee lifting lines, furrows
entire microbial platings gone fallow
individually accounted for
laced with copper
vacated to bright cerulean hue
both before and after steeping, not boiled
pasts coming present duty, oiled ready
steadfast unblinking fortitude in lovers �� knots
bright petal by bight peal, vested connection
tendencies towards repetition ablating language
baby babble recognizably ancient geek
tungsten orbital drops interspersed with calculations
trig for invective ejecta distribution
words, herbs, bobs and wheels
collective, this life, pattern wright
thus lives garden passenger
tapestration gone monastic spin
seedling in, needling reflected motion
always counting, counting
