there ��s a moment in film, particularly horror
where either the special effects are well executed
or there ��s some degree of disruption in emotional attachment
how the splash of blood originates from a pump
brought thirty pounds over pressure
and somehow the actors keep straight faces
despite black and white meaning everyone
faces chocolate disaster passing by with zealous vigor
precursor to anime noses and slashes
connection breaking, connection making
heart skipping in uh-oh or simply vacating scene
instead of pump at overdrive a known brand
hamburger additive that someone ��s cooked gelatin into
an uh-oh versus a faint hunger around the edges
for eighties grade school food also around the edges
surprised shelter cat unintentionally in shot
going from pouf to glory upon realization
that screaming foaming humans
means an eruption of dinner
how that particular franchise made its name
for no other content than ever-more delicious treats
and how many happy cats eating the effects
might increase per sequel
with utter disregard for continuity
or even a hint of plot, cast and crew adopting
each and every one
