phone's stopped ringing, vapor-chat tones all saw-tooth down the never channels
places where I ��d had concordance with the world flipped back for the Aussie god-thunk
invasives where I ��d had nerves stripped by that two-tone giggle-flex, his unspeakable shoulders
let ��s not talk about his unspeakable shoulders, he ��s on a roll, whucking the dough
��just consider it an alternate-alternate �� into the receiver, extra loud, he ��s got it upside down
again �� whonk
pretty sure that ��s a tenderizing mallet, and it ��s utterly criminal that his bagels
boiled loops of unconscionable joy �� somehow go from fucking pulverized to bliss
those shoulders, hnergh, ��no, like, like, infinite, �� and that giggle again, but this time he flexes his ass
just half, because a half ass-flex is surfer dude gyration for contemplation in the face of thought
��we can absolutely do that, what is that anyway, �� and relax, lightning on the horizon
again �� whork
bell at the front, desiccated beach husk crying Valhalla to the tune of six hundred assorted
lox we don ��t do, cream cheese and coffee yes, this is a bloody coffee shop, that ��ll be n-79 please
��course it ��s in two hours, ��course it is �� pay �� up �� front �� while out back the hew and cry
slithering towards valley-side as the arm-breaker stand mixer spools up, ��don ��t think about anything ��
clanging of the double Vulcans open and shut, crullers, donuts and thank fuck we just do black coffee

near silence, as we all look out front, a plaintive, ��Heimdal? �� in three-tone reality abstrusion
break-beat, because of course there ��s a pause before the hitherto silent metal armed coffee puller shrugs
deadpans, ��it ��s the Stay-Puffed Marshmallow Man, �� and just plain erupts in knives and firearms
right about where I used to keep my last sane reserve, underneath the biggest round baking sheet
still blazoned with the logo for Star of the West best flour reserve, nigh indestructible
