in the corner of the market there ��s a kiosk just for tea
a handful of mimeographed pages below each display
lamenting how, if only we followed the one true path
tea would be that much closer to perfection
at the bottom of each, a little map
showing a small park in Quebec
highlighting a single trail one might presume reflection
of that physical journey
below that, different for each sheet, a hand drawn tent
incompetently assembled in every case, poles and whatnot
just plain strewn about
and back in blue reproduction
our gunpowder green �� so good
once it goes down, you can ��t get it back up
