if you listen closely, you can hear the medical terminology at the edges
though it is claimed that this is a story of alone, and lonely, and longing
of home, and homecoming in the place where all homes are calculated
it is instead two tales wound deep, pronounced both ways in chord
where family and familial are seven thousand fathoms deep, compressed
bulwark and buttress in calciferous exchange, retained in coral accretion
heartbone of the thousand-faced deeps, where if you listen closely
this is a story of respiration, resistance at manifold edges frilled out thus
an atmosphere ��s difference from without to within, carbon lung drifts diamond
where that trickler-alert whines sinew-load, refracting lapidable gift
expectation of next-shift, next telomer-rift, a sibilant un-becoming
woven thought-deep, briny sweep an arrested purchase of clicks
neither gaining nor retaining shape, swift-swift bellows blowing
strong is she who fights the drift, without, within, knowing
