had three dreams
back to back like it weren ��t no big thing
first, 1970s embodiment of an orange hill with a golden sun
and upon that hill, god looking away
below them, multitude
one yelled line of Praga Khan
each voice identical
upon their lips
god at peace, somewhere else
second, well, you know how it goes
war crimes spit like tautog in schools
research archives lining the street torn open
divination between law and power inscrutable
batons at shoulders, arm in arm
armored faceless muffled singing
all god ��s children gonna burn
third
third ��s the charm
seventeen stone aligned to solstice
granite and limestone crest
bones of multitude in shapeless gravel
a thousand resonant whispers of the one true word
none the same
god in disarray
