assassin sharpened its curved claws
climbed the mountain of its opposition
endured the treachery of the pass
got at last in critical range
then silent struck, again, again
when, ��oh, how cute!
did you see it pause
just before it stuck in? ��
lifted free, crying, ��I am death!
I am murder in the night! ��
the kitten ��s job remains
beloved by all
