whatever got born
has been replaced
in me
solid form
kept, shoveled full
spirit I, made I

recite with me
never been born
nor known case
coffer
damn foundation
this flexible moisture
clotting
no, never human
just burrow
and badger
hunger here
where human has been
window dressing
out behind flesh
comfortable I
jiggling
just below skin
say I enough times

how becoming
slithering
