certainty drove the hardest bargain, clothed and wrapped and iron shod
murderous destiny manifest, bartered in poisoned cloth
and their hooves so blackened to the night
ringing anvils across paved paths
righteous in accouterment, righteous in accouterment
and the second thought bought down to shield
shield maiden with her mark, mailed in the under dark
duty bound to standard, standard bound in crimson
and the ripping of the standard bearer
quiet below the southern loss
blighted in the stunning cost, blighted in the stunning cost

cry out then, o bargain fraught with rusted skin and nails
thy magister is mortal wounded, wrapped in drying leather
and their hooves so blackened to the night
who's crusaders these lustful youth
sins forgiven before the fact, that they might rape with vigor
