tucking away in the memory
a body crushed where the bodies lay
someone left from yesterday when the overpressure fell
another chance to juxtapose your face upon his form
perfect in repose before decay begins
not the slightest distortion, nor blood - hammer's mark
chalked up, counted - four hundred perfect forms
the flawless dead will linger, recollecting your explication
the fuel and mix of air
