October 1, 1995
to have no more dreams
a lie of recession
said to be impossible
this now the signing hour
this corruption
waking to another species wiped clean
to survive
homecoming
interrupted by news years swollen
another species remade wrong
water in my hand
stronger than your annihilation
a battle-ground none see
food for the gaunt
floodland
in the wilds where you've not been
is life
itself
my friend
destroyer
what you were designed for
is ending still
