November 14, 1994
this burncast shadow embedded
fishpall against flashblacked granite wall
rain-strafed back when the rain fell
streaked
layers of char on bone dead stone
flashbulb vacancy
still - dust motes
settled like sterility
fast to earth blunt glass
engraved
an instant flashed deathwatch
stopped
that blade bright dumped
layered in its glass'd sharp shadows
one passer good-bye
imaged lased behind upon the wall
