Strait Series Dynamite
December 10, 1994
his eyes turn west
into the sun
a settling face, a settler's gone
put out to rest
or so the reader's service said
his eyes turn up
before he passes on
his fingers work the flayed off cloth
his chaos wept so long the loss denied
like glycerin he sinks through sand
a grandest mist
a grander plan than thine
a smile that wept
his woe not done
a hand that holds his face to mine
settling in for the stay
dividing down
crush the loss - he'll not be gone for long
