Silt
January 13, 1994
sand from stone from mountain
silt from stone to sea
a path of death to birth
does no one wonder any longer
how low the highest mountain looms
above the silted ocean floor
ten thousand mountains deep in sand
silt to sea
sea to glass
stilled stepping out from shore
though the millionth mountain tall will tremble
even fall
before an end to ender ��s game
