I dreamed I saw a man
running from his sorrows
across a desert in his mind
he charged until his legs stopped
then crawled
spent and tired he crashed within
problems unchanged
and so it is we all run
across the face of the world
oblivious
nothing changes
but we keep on running
'til like the fallen we devalue
dragged down by our sorrows
never changed
