as i start tracking running for marathon prep i've been thinking about routes & how it's nice my neighborhood is still kind of new to me so i won't get bored for a while. i used to do practically the same run every time i ran when i lived in kirksville but i never tracked how long, it was always just for fun & the distance wasn't important. i just looked it up & measured the distance on maps & it was 4.5 miles!! excited to feel like that's a comfortable run again, i'm averaging 2.5-3mi on a casual run these days.
