The collision between a car and a pedestrian happened shortly after 9pm
in Artane
A man in his 60s is in a serious condition after he was struck by a car
in Dublin last night.
The collision occurred shortly after 9pm on the Kilmore Road in Artane
at the junction with Ardmore Drive.
The man was taken by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital with serious
injuries.
The road was closed for a time but has since re-opened.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone with camera
footage (including dash-cam) from the area to contact Coolock Garda
Station on 01 6664200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or
any Garda Station.
