This is a gemlog for the SpellBinding puzzle, in which you construct words using the specified letters (each word must contain the anchor letter).
APEX AXEL AXLE EXAM EXAMPLA EXAMPLE EXEMPLAR EXPEL EXPELLEE EXPELLER LAXER LEXEME PARALLAX PERPLEX PLEX RELAX RELAXER
Pangram: EXEMPLAR
Make words with X, eh.
EXAMPLA seems to be an error, as it should be 'exempla', which is plural of 'exemplum' (a single example or exemplar)...
LEXEME: a meaningful linguistic unit that is an item in the vocabulary of a language. A word really important to me personally, as I have written countless lexers for computer languages (and things like stemmers and such for English as well). Oddly, 'lexer' is not a word according to MW. I beg to differ, as lexers are such basic parts of compilers and interpreters... I would argue that any reasonably informed individual these days should know the basics of information sciences as much as anatomy or whatnot. I would have included it but it was too late.
To PERPLEX: to complicate/obfuscate, or make unable to grasp something clearly or to think logically and decisevely.
PLEX: multiplex
Another day.
