So after my partner’s decision to keep the pregnancy, her mother has said she will not support her and that she is throwing away her dreams and ruining everything, even though my girlfriend and I don’t feel that way. It’s difficult enough dealing with an unplanned pregnancy without intense pressure and condemnation from one’s own mother. It’s a painful time.

I think the reason creatives/artists support each others' work is because they know how fulfilling it feels to be supported in their own. A compliment, a little of your attention, some feedback, or just a "nice work" is such low energy high impact act. Imagine not using that.

[1] whatever I think about Lately, I have found myself trapped again in whatever-that-big-tech wants me to be trapped in. It’s frustrating, but it’s also an addiction that I have to be honest with myself about. Maybe “posting” little things, just thoughts or feelings that come to me randomly can help. Maybe I just need a break from thinking everyone has expectations over me. There’s this fear of being perceived that has begun to grow inside me. This year, I found myself lingering for love, missing more people than I expected too. More than that, I discovered that I’m scared of failing [someone]. Me. My own perception has became some sort of toxic relationship.

NAQCC Sprint is ON and some QRN out there but good copy. I worked K1SN in VA and W8GG in MI and with having to get up at 0430 EDT all I get is a half hour and I was QRO at 4w! Oh well these guys deserved the points! 72 my QRP people.

Noam Chomsky has passed away. He was not only an important linguist at MIT, he was an important left intellectual who used journalism to critique American power. He reminded us all that the first nation convicted by the UN of terrorism was the United States, for bombing Nicaragua. He was a man who talked like he was reading from a book, complete with references. A top intellectual. And, of course, rarely seen on TV, or taken seriously as an interlocutor by the political class, including both Republican and Democrats. He was an inconvenience to the system, and so they ignored him. But we remember him.
