I am starting to monitoring mosquitoes in our garden. As I am very interested in insects, this is worth a try. Together with the children. There are various CO2 based traps to attract the mosquitoes. There is also a project to monitor, identify and map mosquitoes where you can send in the trapped ones. It's called the Mosquito Atlas https://mueckenatlas.com/ anyone out there interested in insects?

Upstate NY mosquitos are fierce! Also, the horseflies will take a chunk of your face off and leave you bleeding.
