i realize that would only work in case the capsule is run by the same person who configured it, i. e. bubble has many users and only one keypair they don't have access to. however subdomains can have their own keys, so if i host a capsule for my family or friends, where each member has own subdomain, i can give them the keypairs to install in gemini client and present themselves as someone from that subdomain. would that work?

hmmm, i think there was some other place to comment, there was a discussion, and here i only see my own comments.
openid in geminispace i was saying that there is no need in social networks since internet is a social network. we have sites, the updates is possibre to fetch anonymously via rss. but if we wanted to comment with our identity, then openid was the way. so rss+openid solves almost all what we use activity pub for (i was gonna write except private messages, but even private can be done). if we adopt something like openid or openid in geminispace, i think that will cover most of our needs....
