I have just moved in to Linux recently and didnt expect so much stuff still working. I will list a few which interested me so far:
- open arena (being fan of quake 3 from childhood, that was.. very pleasant discovery)
- 0 a.d. (expected a civ clone, got something more interesting)
- openmw (great engine rewrite which also opened doors to more cursed stuff like online mode >:)
- Fightcade/GGPOZ (not fully opensource, but good projects on their own - aiming to bring Arcade experiences to online)
- Warzone 2000 (not too big of fan but i like idea of customizable units)

I recently played Diablo 1 for the first time, and native under linux using a port someone wrote and the assets of an original copy I bought on GOG. I gotta say I love this fashion of re-writing old games and make them available to more platforms without any copyright infringement (allegedly).
Three more games that are native to Linux:
try out Unciv, that's a very solid FOSS civ-clone (also available on android)

There is “instead” engine, if you are into text quests. Although I'm unsure how many English stories exist for it.

Thanks for suggested stuff. Will check a lot of them, especially unciv and openTTD. As for myself - today i was trying to put together bottles to play Melty blood Actress Again. Still work in progress but seems like it will work fine.
Speed Dreams is another interesting choice. It is a free and open source racing simulator, originally forked from TORCS:
Since the previous project lead retired from the project a few months ago, I took on the role and we are now making some effort to modernise the project, such as migrating to Git and move away from SourceForge, as well as making licensing clearer.
I liked the strategy
there is the game called hedgewars that is like the worms games

Aaaand for another late status, heh
Got more ram so decided to try pcsx2, runs well so i have ps2 library too now.
also i found out about openKh project. its not finished, but curious to follow. basically an attempt to reverse engineer Kingdom hearts 2 engine and if they manage to do it, it will allow custom maps and native ports for the game almost everywhere what sounds good.
Next on list should be soem of my steam games, OpenTTD and Unciv
