Thanks for recommending websdr, that's one I haven't used yet. I should see how well my 20m inverted vee will play with 40m. I might need the tuner for that.

40m has been pretty active this week in CW and there must be some sort of event on. Just worked N2JPR who had a lovely signal from Long Island at 7.045Mhz. I use [http link] to just listen to the radio, there are many open stations around , I just hang on one near me when I work from home so I can fire up my radio if I want to respond to someone. It's a great way to do some SWL time and if you're here you probably already have everything you need to listen to the world. 72's de N2QFD
