40m has been pretty active this week in CW and there must be some sort of event on. Just worked N2JPR who had a lovely signal from Long Island at 7.045Mhz. I use http://www.websdr.org/ to just listen to the radio, there are many open stations around , I just hang on one near me when I work from home so I can fire up my radio if I want to respond to someone. It's a great way to do some SWL time and if you're here you probably already have everything you need to listen to the world. 72's de N2QFD

Thanks for recommending websdr, that's one I haven't used yet. I should see how well my 20m inverted vee will play with 40m. I might need the tuner for that.
