Haha, I haven't read much scifi in general, but I am on the lookout for this blend "sci-fi with fantasy". What Gene Wolfe book would you recommend for someone new to his work?
The best recommendation to start is usually "The Fifth Head of Cerberus". It's a three story compilation, and it shows very well the style of Wolfe. Furthermore it's not very long.
