I've become a pretty big fan of 8-bit music lately. I stumbled upon this cool radio station, Hyperadio, that plays tracks that take me back to the days when I was rocking Golden Axe on my Commodore 64. Those were the good times, or at least that's how I remember them now.
This morning, before I headed off to Greenock to stock up on stomach-friendly grub, I did a bit of gardening. The house I'm living in has this garden that looks like it was once really well taken care of. I know it's totally irrational, but I can't help feeling like there used to be a happy little family here, and something tragic happened that made them leave this place. It's like their presence lingers, a kind of sad and melancholic vibe, and for some weird reason, it seems like they're happy I'm here now. Yeah, I've got my irrational side, too.
I need to start carving out an hour a day to get back into Python coding. I'm starting to forget it, and that's just not cool.
