My opinion is that too many people focus on the protocol, clients and servers. Every one wants his own implementation in a language he likes. We do need clients and servers but look at
It's incomplete and still there are more clients and servers than the amount of active users on Antenna, for example. I do get the fact it's very easy to implement. It's really nice to be able to write a piece of software that is complete and functional, on your own.
But that's not what the gemini project needs, in my opinion. The community needs content, either original or by building bridges to the other web. We want the community to grow, in the sense that we want more people to know there is a different kind of web, with less ads, less surveillance, simpler, where anyone can join and participate. And then make the joining part easier.
