Gemini-related links and stuff
I'm not going to duplicate the awesome links and info already on Medusae and Gemini Discovery - these are just things that I personally found useful.

Clients
- Graphical clients - I tried out Kristall for a bit, it was pretty nifty and great for getting started in Gemini. But once I dipped my toes into the water, I kinda wanted something with a bit more functionality, which wasn't really what I was getting in Kristall.
- Elpher -I love how it integrated with emacs, and it had great functionality. Not sure about tabs, it wasn't a real issue for me. However, it didn't have a feed subscription function. I'm back to Elpher, mainly because I can browse gopher too. It was kinda nice having the tabs of Amfora though, but I wonder if I could make it work by opening another buffer...gotta figure this one out. I realised I didn't use the feeds myself that much, because CAPCOM and Spacewalk do a pretty decent job.
- Amfora - I first tried Amfora mainly because it provides the ability to subscribe to feeds and websites, and has tabs. I hate the dark colour scheme, though, and I changed it to a light background. The only problem is that the help text (and any .txt stuff) still turns out as white against the light background. Despite me going into the config file and setting everything referring to text colour as black, it still turned out white. So, I just copied and pasted the keybinding info on my newtab page. I did try to apply a light theme, but the same issue occurs. I have compensated by setting the background to a medium background colour that works with both black and white text. Anyway, URL for themes:

Writing
I'm finding that ssh-ing into the server and writing files directly is quite clunky. Currently I'm writing files locally and then using scp to transfer files to the server, which requires an ARPA membership. Unfortunately, I don't have access to rsync though. I'm thinking of starting my own server - will do this after exams.
