Cloud Photos (publ. 2024-05-22)

Last Friday afternoon (May 17) I was laying in the grass on the yard, and I observed some very dynamic activity in the cumulous clouds overhead. Massive clouds were changing dramatically over the course of seconds. For the last half of the show, I was able to grab some photos of interesting cloud shapes.

I also took these photos of yard, which looked beautiful due to the angle of the sun. I adjusted the images somewhat with the curves and shadow/highlights tools in Gimp, trying to reproduce my own memory of the lighting dynamics, which was not captured satisfactorily by the camera.
