A south-westward partial halo coronal mass ejection (CME) was first detected in the LASCO C2 coronagraph images at 02:24 UTC on Feb 6th. The CME is related to M2.2 and M4.2 flaring from NOAA AR 3575 (beta-gamma-delta). The CME was accompanied by a coronal dimming and a type II solar radio burst. While bulk of the CME is off the Sun-Earth line current analysis suggests a possible glancing blow arrival on Feb 8th.
