I've been enjoying a couple of Gemini puzzle games.
This is simple enough: make words from a set of letters. I can't do it all at once because my brain just makes the same words again. If I leave it for a bit and come back, new words come easier.
Puzzlemaster StackSmith is keen to use US words and spellings, and particularly avoids "Britishisms". No problem with that except I sometimes learn that words I thought common are in fact peculiar to the country I live in.
Here's a whole blog that makes me say "That's not the universal way to say that in English??"
This is harder: from an outline, name a country. You get hints about how wrong you are and which direction to go in. I learned that there are many small island nations, and they all look like... small islands. You don't get many guesses so I usually fail, but today I got one.
Puzzlemaster Acidus gives you a score thingy like this:
Where In The World? • Puzzle #41 • 2022-09-10
