Who knows what's gonna happen next!

It's all a cloudy future!

There are 2 possibilities, either Gemini succeeds in being a relatively popular protocol (Popular as Tor) or Gemini doesn't take off, it becomes a tool for a few nerds (like me) who hate the current web, I hope the latter doesn't happen but for it to not happen we must improve the Gemini protocol.

Number one, we need advanced clients and servers.

We need clients that can reasonably compete with Firefox or Chrome, we need video and audio support obviously... and we need history and tabs.

Those are the features that consumers expect a browser to be and if it's not that then no one will use it.

Audio/Video support might be taking Gemini a bit too far but I believe it's the only way we will truly be able to compete, it's not necessary but it would be a nice feature, the other thing is that History and Tabs support are absolutely necessary, Gemini is so hard to navigate, I instantly get lost not knowing which web page I just entered and getting stuck not knowing the hotkeys for the client I am using...

It's a big mess, we really need improvements to the clients themselves and then Gemini might be a bit easier to deal with.
