I respect what Louis Rossman has done for Right to Repair, but I've never been able to really enjoy his videos. He's just too brash and opinionated for my tastes, even if I agree with a lot of his opinions!

Also, more recently he has done very few repair videos and has mostly transitioned to pure political commentary. Not my favorite genre.

@Ruby_Witch: yeah, he is mostly philosphizing and ranting, and doesn't really have the depth to pull it off. I hate to come off as elitist -- I am a high-school dropout myself, but I don't get a sense that Rossman reads a lot, if you know what I mean.

He reminds me of the dog character on BoJack Horseman. He is very functional, but when a squirrel runs by, he is still a dog.

But even if I can't sit through an entire video most of the time, it is still a guilty plesure of mine.

He's done a lot of good work fighting for the Right to Repair, and his ongoing fight with New York City bureaucracy (even years after he moved to Texas or Florida) is truly amusing (and familiar).
