Google just renamed its "Bard" AI thing to "Gemini." Feels a little inconsiderate, and maybe spiteful...

Anyone know what happened to geminispace.info? It seems to have vanished. Recommendations for replacement Gemini search engines are welcome.

"Design for incompetence."

This is why I like Gemini. It's harder to mess it up, on either the client or server side, so you don't have to worry as much about how implementers will handle it. There's a few other simple protocols that come to mind as well, and neo-retrocomputing projects like uxn.

I wouldn't mind dealing with lower capabilities if it means getting things right. It seems like every week or two some service I use has a major security lapse. It's getting old!
