@bitdweller Thanks, didn't know about it. It's really awesome! · 1 year ago
@skyjake This makes sense. I do appreciate the saved space - my main issue has been trying to copy/paste, altho there is some aesthetic thing about having the gemini:// there. I was showing Lagrange to a friend who hadn't heard of gemini, and I wanted to point out the gemini:// in place of https:// but it wasn't there which gave me another thing to explain haha · 1 year ago
I'm really enjoying it on macOS, great work 👍 · 1 year ago
@falschdenker I usually add it to F-Droid, not sure if you can download the APK standalone, here's the link to the repo: https://skyjake.github.io/fdroid/repo/ · 1 year ago

@satch The reason is to save space on narrow screens. The intention was to add the full "gemini://" prefix when copying the URL, but there's some complications with it since the input field switches to a native UI element when editing.
I could try a few things and see if it improves.
Are these irritations you refer to related to copying the URL away or something else that needs addressing? · 1 year ago
@skyjake I'm wondering why the iOS version doesn't display the gemini:// bit of urls and shortens them to begin with just //
this has caused me irritation on multiple occasions but I imagine there's a reason? · 1 year ago
@bitdweller where can I get lagrange on android · 1 year ago
@skyjake that's a fun bug, indeed :D
Don't worry about text selection. I can't say enough good things about Lagrange, I use it on Android and macOS and it's part of what makes Gemini pleasant to be a part of! · 1 year ago
Thanks!
Yeah, text selection is a bit fiddly on mobile, especially since iOS and Android have different methods for it and my code implements neither.
Fun bug in v1.15.9 btw: if you have multiple tabs open, their order gets reversed at launch. You can quit and relaunch to get back to the right order... Already fixed in the dev branch. · 1 year ago
Amazing job, indeed! I'm on android and it's the only implementation of scroll to refresh that I like, I have never triggered it by accident!
I do have to say I don't like the text selection, it doesn't work quite right. But I'm very happy with it! · 1 year ago
