Folks, I just noticed that I had ~10 emails from the Gemini list in my GMail inbox. If anyone else is foolish enough to use Google to handle their mail, please check and mark any false-positives as not spam. Google also classified them as 'looks dangerous' (jeez! that irks me). Kevin
needless to say, I meant in my Spam folder, not my inbox (! now double irked) On Wed, 19 Aug 2020 at 16:08, Kevin Sangeelee <kevin at susa.net> wrote: > > Folks, > > I just noticed that I had ~10 emails from the Gemini list in my GMail > inbox. That is why you set up a filter on day one with a checkmark on "don't send to junk folder" or whatever it's phrased. I do that for all mailing lists, since forever. Google insists on telling me I should remove that filter. Sorry if my tone offends anyone, this was typed in a hurry. -- Katarina Den ons 19 aug. 2020 17:09Kevin Sangeelee <kevin at susa.net> skrev: > Folks, > > I just noticed that I had ~10 emails from the Gemini list in my GMail > inbox. In Gmail's defense, Migadu also marks around some number of Gemini list messages as spam, even though I have very low spam settings. I talked to their engineers a while back and they said it was something to do with one of the tilde's having questionable SPF records; I'll have to dig up the ticket. -- -Steve
