I got this far and realised it's quite a difficult task. I could easily just keep going.
This isn't my top ten personal favourites by any means, I'd probably need to just make a massive list and then narrow it down to the nth degree. I'll re visit this document later on and see what I can come up with.
* Dark City (1998)
* Jaws - 1977
* Logan's Run - 1976
* O Brother, Where Art Thou? - 2002
* Halloween III: Season of the Witch - 1982
* Fahrenheit 451 - 1966
* Carry On Up the Khyber - 1968
* Carry on Henry - 1971
* Soylent Green - 1973
* The Music Box (Laurel and Hardy) - 1932
Even now I can see I could live without Carry on up the Khyber but Sir Roger de Lodgerley's confession read out by Thomas Cromwell (Kenneth Williams)** in carry on Henry is worth the price of admission alone. And you've not heard how to properly pronounce the title "Conte" in Conte di Pisa until you've seen this film... Slade in Flame would in the list as well. It's all so difficult. As first world problems go it's proper bezoomny! Clockwork Orange? LOTR trilogy (slowed down - horrorshow bedways) only counts as one, StarWars.. Even though, latterly I've favoured the Radio play from back in the day ***, even though even though, also also Darth Vader doesn't sound as good it's still a great production. THX, Withnail & I "As a youth I used to weep in Butchers shops!", American werewolf in London.. Jenny Agutter though.. Phwoar! Bangin in Logans run and the aforementioned.
"Laser Lass is Banging!" V for Vendetta, I could live without it, Shaun of the dead though, maybe not. Would I really just put a favourite film in my top ten just because I wanted to *uck one of the main protagonist's? It would be a top ten of porn or Seven of Nine episodes or any Blake Seven episode with Serlan... Would they count? Thelma and Louise I went to see that loads when it came out. My gf at the time nearly clawed my leg off during the sex scene, to this day it's yet to be beat for energy and context. I really should include that.. Z.P.G is a goto background movie, even though it's *ucking nuts, I've yet to try it slowed down (todo).
..... Spinal tap, How to Get Ahead In Advertising, The Rebel, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Jenny Agutter, Again!) Thankfully Chucky II wouldn't be on my list. The Fog, Escape from New York, Assault on Precinct 13. Theres a list that could get Adrienne Barbeau heavy real quick. What with her and Agutter that could be a movie list that was quite 70/80's heavy, THE BIG HAIR MOVIE LIST.
O Brother, Where Art Thou? - 2002
