Isn't it crazy how at times you think for hours about a problem with no solution in sight, then you go to sleep, wake up, and find the solution within a few minutes? Learning here: No need to brute-force. Let time do its magic.

Open question to myself: is anonymity good online?
After a long time waiting, schismatrix arrived in the mailbox.
In the last few days... has it been a week? I've spent time learning about the history of multics, unix, linux. It's been such an adventure. It's humbling to see how everything unfolded. For now, I'm hoping to create a little pubnix. For that, I'm learning about debian and setting up systems. More updates on that soon!
Smartphones. I used to love them. Now I'm eagerly waiting the day I stop my current work to completely stop using them. Actually not just smartphones, but phones in general. Imagine how liberating it can be not to carry with you a phone all the time. Proper disconnection!

I'm still learning a lot when it comes to Linux. Yesterday, I was looking for a way to read the first page of hackernews directly from gopher. It's impressive to see what a curl | grep | sed can do! It's now live on gopher://sdf.org/1/users/m15o/hn
I just saw that brave will roll-out their own search engine. I'm all in favor of anything that helps with privacy. For a few month new I've been browsing the web without javascript enabled and while it breaks way too many sites, it feels better.
Hello world!
I just found out about gemini://konpeito.media and what a great surprise! Old-school mixtapes with a great vibe. Perfect companion to browse the small web. I love how the first mixtape is called "TRAPPIN' IN GOPHERSPACE".
