I haven’t done this for a while, so I’m going to start off by being a little self-indulgent.
I’ve set up a side capsule for archiving lyrics to songs that I like. I won’t be taking submissions, but I highly encourage others to do the same. This is content that would fit perfectly on Geminispace.
Meanwhile, elsewhere on the webs...
A web-based feed reader by m15o. I love the layout and colors.
An extension for SeaMonkey and Pale Moon to render Gopher pages, a successor to Project Overbite. Now all we need is one like this for Gemini...
A terminal-based tool for reading Fediverse content! My only complaint is that since it’s read-only with no accounts, you can’t see some things you would be able to read from a proper app. But other than that it’s pretty nice.
Submissions are open today! (Assuming I remember to upload this post on time.) It runs from September 29 to October 1.
An actual game jam, this one’s been running since September 22 and ends on October 15. Games have to be made in Bitsy, Mosi, or Bipsi, which are a handful of adorable smol game engines.
And in serious topics...

A B.C. study gave 50 homeless people $7,500 each. Here’s what they spent it on.
They did not spend more money on alcohol or drugs, contrary to what people believe, and instead they spent the money on rent, food, housing, transit, furniture, a used car, clothes. It’s entirely the opposite of what people think they’re going to do with the money.
The loss of dark skies is so painful, astronomers coined a new term for it
“Noctalgia”.
