It was unfortunate to me that I was unable to attend many of the IRC for class due to work. I was confused at first on how to enter a chat but was able to figure it out fairly easily. I find that these alternate universes can be a bit confusing. That may come from the fact that mainstream social media all has a very similar log in format and set up.
I think this Alternate Ecosystem is fairly simple and should be used in classes like it was in this one. When completing an online class an in real time chat is so amazing for everyone to communicate. Works easy for office hours.
