Brilliant @jsreed5 - the missing bit for me was that if I pressed the [1] tans thingie and not the 3 dot menu it would bring up an identity menu - didn't know that ;-) I am toying with writing a small social network and guess what I will be the tech support for me civilian pals ;-) · 1 year ago

I use Deedum on Android and Kristall on PC. I was going to write a reply here on how I moved certs back and forth between them, but it became too long, so I wrote a post on my capsule about it. gemini://jsreed5.org/log/2023/202301/20230105-moving-gemini-client-certificates-between-deedum-and-kristall.gmi · 1 year ago

I am using deedum on Android and it doesn't appear to have any export mechanism, nor donI know where the certificates are stored or anything :-( · 1 year ago

I copied and pasted them between computers & yoinked them from one machine to another through SFTP. · 1 year ago

and following up on that, if you are using Lagrange, said export/import function is found by going to settings > identities and you can do it there... it will create a small textfile with a name like astrobotany.pem (for example) and then you yeet that file to your other device · 1 year ago

👽 johano

kinda depends on your client, I think... in Lagrange there's a way to export and import certificates (indeed, even your whole user profile) from one device to another · 1 year ago

👽 martin

Station supports multiple certs per user, so the ideal case is that you create a new cert on the other device and assign the new cert to your user.
