The religion of the Dragonoids is tightly intertwined with their politics. Their autocratic leadership, according to their vulcanogenesis story, goes back 25,000 years when the first Dragonoid, a Mshth, was birthed from a volcano after an eruption had annihilated the local human and elven populations. According to legend, this Dragonoid heard a voice emanating from the volcano stating his superiority over all, Dragonoid and sub-Dragonoid alike, which he trusted and obeyed quite literally. To this day, they use this myth as justification for their genocidal bloodlust; the other races of the sphere simply considered that to be evidence that they were infernal demons, never to be trusted. Through millenia of war and cunning, they have mostly overcome this hatred by other races and have gained their trust.
