Working now on a curses Gemini client in C. Should be released soon here and on gopher and the web.
Also, as support for this client, I've started work on a shared library and other files to provide support for associating programs with URL schemes, similar to what /etc/mailcap provides. It will allow my gemini client (and any program that uses the library) to identify and call a configured program to handle URL schemes that it can't handle itself, such as associating lynx with schemes http: and https:.
