I just read this advice in geminispace.info: "geminispace.info search engine will shut down on 1st June 2024". Does it refer to a maintenance shut down or it's about the end of the site?

I wonder why he didn't update the Geminispace.info news page, to which I have subscribed in Lagrange. I only noticed it because I also subscribe to the #GeminiProtocol tag on Mastodon.

I've been at RSA this week, so only getting to comment now. I'm thankful to Rene for running this as long as they did, and to Natalie Pendragon who is the original author of GUS, which Geminispace.info was derived from.
I have the resources to keep Kennedy and my other services indefinitely, so those aren't going anywhere. Thanks to some gentle poking from @michaelnordmeyer I'll add some better automation to it soon.
